Gillespie, Keith
Keith is an experienced international consultant and turnaround manager. He has worked in complex situations with clients in North America, Asia, South America, Africa, and Europe. He has held senior level positions with leading management consulting companies, as well as senior line management positions in several high tech companies. Prior to joining AlixPartners, Keith served as Vice President of High Tech Consulting for i2 Technologies, Inc. He also served as a Senior Vice President at TenFold Corporation, a provider of mission critical software applications. Before coming to TenFold, Keith was at McKinsey & Company, Inc. where he served clients in a variety of industries and was a leader in the firm’s Sales Force and Channel Management Practice, and its Marketing Strategy Practice.

While at AlixPartners, Keith has led business improvement efforts at companies in a variety of industries including business services, consumer electronics, telecommunications, office products/services, copy/print services, and house wares. Keith led the development of AlixPartners’ Asia business – spending 4+ years in Asia opening our offices in Japan and China, and serving clients across the region. Keith has led a wide range of successful engagements including:
  • Leading turnaround of $2 billion provider of copy/print services. Efforts include significant cost reduction programs and strategy/revenue initiatives to reposition the company for profitable revenue growth.
  • Acted as interim COO for an international office products and services company operating in 17 countries. Keith helped the company to reduce its costs structure by over $70mm in 12 months and stabilize revenue.
  • Led restructuring of a global electronics component provider. Efforts included operational and balance sheet restructurings in Hong Kong, Korea, China, Brazil, Europe, and Indonesia.
  • Acted as the Chief Restructuring Officer at AT&T Latin America.

Keith holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Arizona State University. He earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he graduated with honors as an Arjay Miller Scholar.
