Many people are commenting that the pandemic has acted like an accelerator, rushing many businesses and their people into the digital future where physical location is irrelevant to how they work. It has also, of course, accelerated the emergence of the problems associated with those issues - security, privacy, collaboration challenges, mental health issues from isolation or heavy screen time.
So now is the time for top management to invest in understanding and taking ownership of the implications of digital transformation ... we must emerge stronger and more resilient as an industry, and also more risk aware and better able to protect our people and assets from cyber threats and other risks.
