AlixPartners strengthens Greater China office among worldwide senior promotions
Hong Kong / Beijing / Shanghai (7 January 2022) – AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, announced today its new year senior appointments, effective 1 January 2022. Among the 15 worldwide promotions, Stephen Yu of the AlixPartners Shanghai office was elevated to the role of Managing Director in the Investigations, Disputes and Risk practice.
Based in Shanghai, Stephen has been with the firm since 2012. Stephen heads AlixPartners’ Digital Forensics and Discovery services in APAC. He has almost two decades of professional services experience in digital forensics, electronic discovery, data analytics and information governance. During his career, Stephen has gained significant experience in helping large Chinese companies and state-owned enterprises (SOEs) involved in foreign transactions with resolving legal issues in foreign jurisdictions. He excels in using the power of technology to assist large multinational companies and their international counsels in a range of Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and fraud investigations, as well as dispute matters. Stephen graduated from the University of New South Wales with Bachelor of Engineering and is a Relativity Certified Administrator and an EnCase Certified Examiner.
Also, effective Jan 1, 2022, AlixPartners is promoting Dick Liu (Enterprise Improvement practice), Julia Zhao (Enterprise Improvement practice) and Zach Li (Investigations, Disputes and Risk practice) to Director roles. Dick and Zach are based in the Hong Kong office while Julia is based in the Shanghai office.
- Dick has a total of 20 years manufacturing & supply chain management experience from both the industry line and consulting. He specialises in end-to-end operations transformation and cost improvement, as well as warehouse/logistics optimization.
- Julia has more than 15 years of experience and knowledge in management consulting and business operations. She has substantial experience in operations management, covering supply chain, procurement, manufacturing and digital transformation.
- Zach advises on valuation, economic loss and accounting issues, primarily in the context of litigation, arbitration and expert determinations. His range of experience includes investor-state disputes, post-acquisition disputes, shareholder disputes, valuation of businesses and loss of profit claims.
