Consulting magazine names AlixPartners’ Patrick Hoban a 2018 ‘Rising Star’
NEW YORK (March 9, 2018) - AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, today announced that Consulting magazine has named Patrick Hoban a “Rising Star of the Profession.” Hoban is a director in AlixPartners’ turnaround and restructuring practice. He will be presented his award at a ceremony held by the magazine in Chicago on April 19.
Hoban joined AlixPartners in 2012. He has been involved in some of the most significant corporate turnarounds of the last decade, including Eastman Kodak Co., Altegrity Inc. and, most recently, Westinghouse Electric Co., where he helped develop a transformation plan that created over $250 million in EBITDA savings.
Hoban holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Sellinger School of Business at Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore, and he is a member of the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (AIRA) as well as the American Bankruptcy Institute.
Jim Mesterharm, co-leader of AlixPartners turnaround and restructuring practice in the Americas and a managing director at the firm, said, “Patrick is certainly a valued member of both our practice and our firm. The consistent high quality of his work and the way he collaborates with colleagues is an example to all. This award is richly deserved.”
