AlixPartners bolsters Digital team with addition of tech risk expert Tim Roberts  

LONDON (May 31, 2019) - AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, today announced that Tim Roberts has joined as a Managing Director in the firm’s Digital practice. Tim is based in London and will focus on advising clients globally, with a special focus on the financial services industry.

Tim brings more than three decades of experience as a senior consultant and business leader in strategy, technology, and risk with deep knowledge across financial services as well as other regulated industries. More recently, he has been focused on working in cyber security and in fintech.  

Tim joins AlixPartners from IBM Security, where he led a global consulting practice focused on cyber security strategy, risk, and compliance. Prior to that he was COO of Ignis Asset Management, and a Senior Partner at McKinsey, where he led the firm’s UK financial services practice and co-founded the global risk practice. He also served as a platoon commander in the British Army. Tim received his MA in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Oxford and has a Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the ACCA.
