Pat is a senior life sciences executive with over 35 years of experience.

Pat has held numerous board, C-Suite, advisory and investment positions all involving medical devices, bioscience and diagnostic companies. These have been for early-stage entities to some of the largest companies in the world.

He has deep Research and Development experience, M&A experience and has assessed commercially reasonable efforts countless times.

  • Abbott Laboratories
    • Last two positions: President, Abbott Vascular; Corporate VP, Worldwide Operations, Abbott Diagnostics.
    • Other key positions: Corporate VP North America, VP R&D Programs, GM Far East
    • Hundreds of products designed, developed and/or launched, including first-ever FDA cleared HIV blood test, TestPack lateral flow rapid tests, AxSYM system and associated immunoassay and fluorescence polarization tests (billion dollar franchise), numerous tests for TDx and IMx instrument platforms, suture mediated closure devices in interventional cardiology. All required US FDA review and clearance.
    • Negotiated and executed numerous licensing and commercialization agreements in the in vitro diagnostics and interventional cardiology markets.
  • Thermo Fisher: President, Fisher Healthcare (then Fisher Scientific)
