Ajit has more than 15 years of manufacturing, engineering, and consulting experience in the automotive, transportation, and industrial sectors. His expertise spans operations optimization, process improvements, strategic sourcing, cost reduction, competitive benchmarking, product development, growth and portfolio strategy, M&A, and due diligence. Prior to AlixPartners, he was senior consultant at Strategy&, where he led operations strategy and corporate strategy projects for OEMs, industrials, and small, tier 1/2 suppliers. He has almost 15 years of experience in working with GM, FCA, and Hitachi Metals in engineering and manufacturing together.
Ajit has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo in Ohio and an MBA from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
