Anne is a Partner & Managing Director in the Economic Consulting practice based in AlixPartners’ Chicago office. Anne applies the models and approaches of economics, finance, and statistics to develop rigorous, fact-based analyses to help clients in matters involving litigation, investigations, and regulatory actions in the areas of securities and finance and antitrust and competition. She has assisted clients in matters involving breach of contract; price fixing and price manipulation; complex commercial damages; class actions; misrepresentations and omissions; and solvency and fraudulent conveyance. Anne has testified in state and federal court proceedings and in state regulatory proceedings and has advised clients in matters involving insurance regulators, federal regulators, and corporate boards.
Anne has over 30 years experience analyzing firms and markets in the financial services sector as both a consultant and an academic. She has deep expertise with all aspects of insurance including property-casualty insurance, life insurance, health insurance, insurance intermediaries, and reinsurance. Anne also has extensive expertise with other sectors of the financial services industry including bank lending, mortgage originators, community banks, and investment advisors.
Anne has had a distinguished academic career having been a professor at both Kellogg Graduate School of Management and Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. Her academic research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals. Anne holds a PhD in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in economics and computer science from Williams College.
