John is a Partner in the Retail Performance Improvement practice with a focus on both DTC and wholesale companies driving operational transformation programs that focus on improvements in processes, tools, organization, strategy, and analytics across the entire business operation.
John leads the firm’s Digital-First Retail initiative. With customer centricity at its core, our approach helps retailers understand how their entire operating model needs to shift – organization, processes, tools, and KPIs. Digital-First Retail enables a retailer’s digital capabilities to be a force multiplier for the full business.
John has acted in interim executive roles for clients when this will yield the best possible outcome. He has partnered with the C-suite at dozens of clients to lead complex analytics projects in specialty, department, global brands, drug store, luxury, mass, and value retail companies. He focuses on operating model, growth strategies, analytics, business operations, and consumer.
John has a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research and Information Engineering from Cornell University. John frequently speaks with media (e.g. WWD) and at industry conferences (e.g. HBS Retail Conference, RILA).
