Kate has more than 17 years of experience as a financial advisor, with a primary focus on advising unsecured creditor committees.
Her experience includes serving clients in the airline, automotive, education, energy, financial services, health care, manufacturing, media and entertainment, mining, restaurant, and retail industries. Kate has worked with debtors, senior lenders, unsecured creditors, and bond insurers both in bankruptcy and out of court.
She has also worked on litigation matters in bankruptcy situations. She has advised clients on all aspects of distressed and bankruptcy situations, including financial and operational restructurings, asset sales, and liquidations.
In 2017, Kate was selected to receive the American Bankruptcy Institute’s inaugural “40 Under 40” award, which recognizes bankruptcy, insolvency, and restructuring professionals. Kate holds an undergraduate degree in Corporate Communication & Business from the University of Texas.
