Heather is a Director in the Investigations, Disputes & Advisory practice at AlixPartners and is based in Dallas. She helps clients by providing expertise in valuation, economic damages, and forensic analysis.
Heather has led teams over multiple domestic and international jurisdictions in preparing expert reports and financial analysis for a broad range of disputes for nearly 15 years. She has managed numerous engagements centered on valuation issues, including breach of contract, shareholder disputes regarding breach of fiduciary duty and appraisal claims, international investor-state and commercial arbitrations, and bankruptcies. Heather also has significant experience in matters dealing with the quantification of economic damages and lost profits, forensic accounting engagements and investigations involving complex issues and financial structures, and solvency analyses.
Heather is a contributing author to Shannon Pratt’s Valuing a Business: The Analysis and Appraisal of Closely Held Companies, 6th Edition. She holds a BBA in Finance and Business Honors from The University of Texas at Austin and is an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
