Joe has over 30 years’ experience in helping companies build the strategies and organizational capabilities needed for sustaining leading shareholder returns.
Joe advises CEOs, executives, and boards of large-cap companies on sustainably growing the value they create for customers and shareholders. He helps those business leaders design and implement blueprints for changes in strategy, resource allocation, and governance that achieve superior shareholder returns, including by building ongoing internal capabilities to sustain superior performance.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, he cofounded Galt & Company. Joe has an MBA from the Wharton School and currently serves as a trustee of Gettysburg College.
He coauthored Beliefs, Behaviors, & Results: The Chief Executive’s Guide to Delivering Superior Shareholder Value and his thought leadership has been featured in major publications, including the Harvard Business Review's Adapt Your Strategy to Higher Interest Rates (March 2024) and Corporate Board Member's Secrets of America’s Top Value-Creating Directors (April 2024).
