He has over 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles in the technology, telco and media segments, where he lead new market entries, product and technology launches, and transformation initiatives. He has served as a sales and marketing executive at a leading telco OEM and led transformation programs across telecom and technology companies globally. 

His deep industry experience in sales, strategy, marketing and operations helps clients deploy pragmatic solutions to their most urgent challenges. At AlixPartners he has redesigned go-to-market structures, improved capital allocation and operational performance, and held interim executive positions in service providers, infrastructure providers and software companies. He has also successfully lead M&A processes to successful business exits for his clients.

Fernando has an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a lecturer in the graduate programs at SMU and Baylor in Dallas and is fluent in English, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese.
