Alison leads logistics, integration, operations, and supply chain strategy engagements. She has deep expertise in designing and executing advanced quantitative and qualitative analyses to solve complex problems and create data-driven solutions and strategies. Alison has more than 25 years’ experience in private industry and consulting, having started her career at UPS. Prior to joining AlixPartners, she led Amazon’s European Union end-to-end transportation cost optimization efforts. She has partnered with clients in consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, oil & gas, chemicals, and life sciences in organic growth and supply chain strategy and execution, product life-cycle and portfolio management, large-scale process changes, and end-to-end value chain transformation. ​

Alison has a Master of Arts in economics from Clemson University and a Master of Science in international logistics from Georgia Institute of Technology.​

Key Engagements:

  • Developed a benchmarking model to compare the largest e-commerce provider value proposition with alternative omnichannel offerings.​
  • Developed key performance indicators and an associated management system to drive new product development at a $4 billion global electronics and power supply organization.​
  • Created a modeling tool for a downstream chemical subsidiary to balance demand and supply side needs and implement a robust sales- and operations-planning process.​
  • Led a project team that developed a centralized global supply chain shared-services organization for a global chemical manufacturer by aligning nine different business units and reducing the expenses associated with running a global supply chain.​
  • Led a global distribution and logistics assessment for a $1 billion carve-out and merger of two distinct business units in the medical device industry. ​
  • Led strategic initiatives focused on UPS’s continued long-term success, including the creation and implementation of supply chain solutions and European road strategies.​
