Stefan leads companies through their large-scale transformation and compliance programs by providing strategic and operational guidance with readily implementable solutions.
With almost 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Stefan acquired deep expertise across retail, private, and corporate banking functions. Stefan's clients benefit from his expertise in situations that really matter and span across strategic enhancements, the design and implementation of Target Operating Models, improvements around the Anti-Financial Crime compliance function, the management of strategic projects, as well as integration activities following a merger.
Before joining AlixPartners, he was a Senior Manager at PwC and also held client-facing roles at financial institutions in Germany.
Stefan has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Applied Sciences for Finance and Management in Germany, as well as an Executive MBA from Durham Business School in the UK and European Business School in Germany. Additionally, he is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and holds the Silicon Valley Immersion Program Certificate from the University of San Francisco.
