James has more than fifteen years of experience in the computer forensics and electronic discovery industries, drawing on skills learnt from serving at a UK law enforcement agency and the UK financial regulatory authority. Whilst working for these agencies, James attended the execution of many search warrants at premises ranging from private dwellings to large businesses spread across multiple sites. This experience of working for law enforcement gives James a useful insight into the way these teams typically operate.
Equipped with the skills to assess, collect and process data from a variety of platforms, James is able to utilize techniques to ensure any interruption to active IT systems is minimized to ensure business can continue uninterrupted. This includes computers, mobile devices, servers and cloud-based infrastructure using many different software and hardware tools James’ experience extends to both on-site and remote based collections.
