Raphael supports corporate and private equity clients in M&A and investigation matters. He focuses on carve-outs, pre-/post-merger integrations, distressed M&A, corporate transformations, and lead advisory mandates, as well as on M&A, accounting, and data-heavy investigations. His objective is to realize a transaction's full potential by relying on data, analytics, and AI solutions.

He has supported CFOs, compliance, and M&A senior clients in critical situations in multiple industries, particularly Industrials, Energy, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, and Financial industries. Prior to joining AlixPartners, he worked at Ernst & Young in Zurich, focusing on financial due diligence, valuation, and financial business modeling, with a strong focus on global carve-outs, PMIs, and lead advisory mandates. 

Raphael holds a master's degree in accounting, finance, and statistics and finished his doctoral studies concerning the valuation of distressed emerging markets companies in parallel with his consulting work.

Raphael regularly contributes his thought leadership to industry publications, including in the M&A Review in April 2024, and November 2022.
