Josh specializes in leading programs that center on the application of analytics and technology to the area of risk management by spanning digital transformation, complex investigations, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining AlixPartners, he was a director at Deloitte, with particular focus on the financial services sector.

- Led a multiyear digital transformation program at a regional regulatory authority; implemented data-driven supervision—a capability that unlocked new insights through the use of data analytics and underpinned a more-forward-looking and targeted approach to the supervision of licensees.
- Led multiple data and system reviews within bank AML operations.
- As part of a $200-million litigation in Hong Kong, led a multidisciplinary team to support the defense’s case; implemented machine-learning-enabled technology to deliver an enhanced discovery exercise involving 2 million documents across multiple jurisdictions.
- Managed a high-profile, complex dispute involving global professional services firms and multiple claims across Hong Kong and China; led a series of targeted lookback reviews involving forensic technology; reported directly to board-level stakeholders alongside external counsel and expert advisors.
- Led a team of analytics and investigation specialists on a large-scale sanctions investigation at a top-tier European bank; implemented forensic analytics to process and review 1 billion payments; reported directly to regional and US regulators alongside external counsel.
Josh has a Master of Engineering in aerospace engineering from the University of Liverpool.
