Peter is a chemicals segment expert at AlixPartners and brings deep technical, operational, and commercial knowledge from experience supporting chemical companies across the value chain in consulting, market intelligence, and industry roles.
Peter brings over 10 years of experience in chemical company manufacturing operations, procurement, product development, engineering, and capital project management functions. As a materials science PhD, Peter has a strong understanding of chemicals industrial synthesis routes and manufacturing technologies. Through this experience, he supports chemical companies to improve visibility to end-to-end supply chains and margin performance through digital tools.
Peter has conducted due diligence for multiple chemical companies and advised management teams and investors on potential value improvement opportunities.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, Peter was a consultant at Wood Mackenzie, where he advised clients on transactions and capital investments across North America, Europe, and the Middle East. He was also a research scientist with the Dow Chemical Company at the company’s Midland and Freeport sites, where he developed and commercialized new commodity and specialty chemical products.
