Santiago is a practical problem solver and data enthusiast. His academic background fostered quantitative and critical thinking skills that he leverages daily to tackle and solve complex, data-rich problems. Santiago has collaborated on cross-practice projects and on many industry sectors, including technology, non-banking, services and retail. One of his key traits is the ability to leverage and integrate large volumes of data from disparate systems to enable digital solutions for internal teams and clients alike.

Over the past year, Santiago's focus to leverage the AlixPartners-Palantir partnership has led him to achieve professional-level certifications as a Palantir Foundry data engineer, application developer and data analyst. He has worked on creating integrated end-to-end data solutions, from data cleaning to complex data applications, which required processing large amounts of data, often dealing with data sources with tens or hundreds of millions, or even billions of rows of data. He is also driving adoption and innovation by creating training materials for members of our firm.

Santiago is recognized by his commitment to the teams he's involved in and fostering an inclusive working environment. He thrives on multidisciplinary and culturally diverse teams. His technical expertise covers a wide range of stacks for programming/querying (Python, Spark, SQL, Typescript, R, among others) and visualizing data (Tableau, PowerBI, Vega, among others), often adapting to the client's needs and long-term plans.

Santiago is keen on collaboration, knowledge sharing and teaching others. For this reason, he's led the design of data competitions on AlixPartners-sponsored campus recruitment efforts for the past three years.

Finally, Santiago is currently serving as Americas Operations Leader for the AlixPartners LGTBQIA+ employee resource group at the Buenos Aires office and has participated in many internal and external DEI initiatives.
