Sophie has 13 years of experience Automotive and Aerospace industry, both in Consulting in London and Paris and as a mechanical, system engineer & program manager for various spacecraft in Germany.
At AlixPartners, she has improved procurement operations for multiple OEMS via leading supplier engagements, technical Product cost reduction and commodity strategy redesign, especially for ADAS, Multimedia, User Controls & Displays, mechanical and engine components. She has also identified organizational changes needed to efficiently purchase commodities with rich software content.
She has also executed operational cost reviews, managed a global industrial raw material resourcing, redesign the growth function of a conglomerate and developed an approach to offshore processes of a finance organization all leading leaner and more cost effective operations.
Sophie holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Space engineering from ISAE-SUPAERO in Toulouse, France. She is fluent in French, English, German, and Italian and is used to navigating multicultural environments.
Sophie likes finding creative solutions to complex challenges and is passionate about people development, especially mentoring and encouraging other women to pursue a career in STEM (Science Technology Engineering Maths)
