Una has more than 18 years of experience in debt & capital advisory, business restructuring, corporate finance, and transaction advisory. With extensive knowledge of both Greater China corporate restructuring and overseas debt recovery, she has an exceptional track record leading numerous large-scale cross-border restructurings.
Una works closely with corporates and major creditors often in large syndicates that include banks in China, East Asia, Europe, and North America, as well as PE firms, to advise on various cross-border debt recovery strategies. She provides practical and commercial advice for establishing and implementing solutions to unlock working capital, as well as to refinance and restructure debt profiles in complex situations. Her wealth of experience also includes helping distressed companies navigate all steps of the restructuring process, from stabilization to capital reorganization and communications with stakeholders, especially lenders.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, Una served as a Partner in the Turnaround & Restructuring and Corporate Finance departments at Deloitte China, where she advised international and Chinese bank syndicates in some of the most prominent cross-border restructurings in Greater China in recent years.
Una is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts (HKSFA), the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS) and the Chartered Governance Institute (CGI). She is also awarded the Specialist Qualification (Insolvency) by the HKICPA. She speaks fluent English, Mandarin, Shanghainese, and Cantonese.

- Advised a group of 36 major international and Chinese banks with a debt size of ~HK$40B in the restructuring of a large Chinese real estate developer with over 450 projects.
- Advised a group of 24 major international and Chinese banks with a debt size of ~HK$15B in restructuring of a large mix ownership Chinese real estate developer with over 200 projects.
- Advised a bank syndication regarding the refinancing of a HK$5B loan lent to 2 top hotels in Hong Kong.
- Advised a syndication of 5 major Hong Kong and Chinese banks on a successful loan exit from the refinancing of HK$10B project loan provided to a Hong Kong high-end residential project.
- Advised a group of 21 international banks from 16 countries and regions in a successful financial restructuring of a leading copper refinery throughout a judicial restructuring process in China with a debt size of US$5B.
- Advised one of China's liquid crystal display manufacturers to successfully refinance a HK$2B syndicate loan.
- Advised one of the world's largest solar photovoltaic enterprises in a US$500M debt restructuring involving 9 international banks.
