Ray Li

Ray is a seasoned expert in advising companies across the upstream and downstream sectors of the oil and gas industry to achieve sustainable improvement in operational and organizational performance. Drawing on his deep industry expertise and strong analytical and project management skills, Ray has successfully supported clients in areas such as strategy development, operating model transformation, SG&A efficiency improvement and operating asset optimization through numerous engagements at AlixPartners.  

Prior to joining AlixPartners, Ray spent over 10 years in the offshore O&G sector, working with leading EPC companies Subsea 7 and KBR, where he gained extensive experience advising E&P clients worldwide on complex challenges such as field development planning optimization and project engineering management for megaprojects. 

Ray holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and an MBA from Rice University Jones School of Business. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas and a certified Project Management Professional.
