Prior to AlixPartners, Matthew held investing and advisory roles, focusing on principal investing, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, corporate strategy, corporate finance, and risk management, primarily within the oil and gas sector.

Matthew has an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Amherst College.
